“Delayed, Arrived, Departures, Cancelled: Station Board casting reality….”

CAUTION:Re-read the board, to relate it, to realise the ongoing life story!

“Laugh in the face of life, because everything will happen according to designed timeline.”

Every platform is a platform for learning, every journey is a lesson, every destination is a realisation, every departure is the truth.”

    >If you have to lose yourself to catch it, it was never your train.”
      > “If I cannot wait, I’m not meant for this train”

       >Though the weight of wait is real.”
        > “If I have to return empty handed, God please don’t allow me to walk that path”
        > “Have a safe journey, because journey tests you more than destination ever will!”

    Train Announcements:

‘The train has arrived on its respective platform”
No one wants to miss this train. But I say, “If you have to lose yourself to catch it, it was never your train.”

Why worry about losing something? If it’s meant to be yours, you’ll reach it anyway. Don’t rush, don’t cling. Just walk in that direction, on the path that will lead you to your destination. It won’t just vanish all of a sudden, but if you are destined to board it, it will appear there magically, trust this… it will, If you started on time and your efforts are honest, you won’t miss it this time.

Life throws a thousand opportunities your way. You miss them, they slip from your hands. What if they were just wake-up calls? To make you active, to make you realize you have to act before time slips away?

    “The train has been delayed”
But I say, “If I cannot wait, I’m not meant for this train.”

Though the weight of wait is real.”

We want to close our eyes and reach the destination in a second. But then you’re skipping the journey. And without the journey, the destination is out of reach. You miss all that you could have admired — and that is priceless. That’s why some people lose, because they never really started.

Sometimes you are excited, you wait for results, but they don’t show up instantly. Empires aren’t built overnight. Everything you put your soul, heart, and effort into requires patience. Though the weight of wait is real, delay is never denial. Trust the timing.

    “The train has been cancelled”
But I say, “If I have to return empty-handed, God please don’t let me walk that path.”

Losing is okay, but knowing you chose the wrong path, misguided yourself, and picked the wrong choice — you cannot reclaim what you lost. It wastes years of your time and self.
Don’t rush to a place where you were never invited, or where you are not needed. It’s okay to step back from the station to your home

    “The train has departed”
But I say, “Have a safe journey, because the journey tests you more than the destination ever will!”
The journey is where you understand yourself. It can cause delay, it can make you sit longer, depending on the speed of the train, the hurdles it has to cross, the tunnels it runs through, and how God ultimately lands you there.

I spent years thinking I was doing it from my end,
Then found years passing, blessing me with things I never wanted.
Then I lived years, learning to accept what I was granted,
And now every minute I believe — yes, this is the life I was seeking, the one God has painted.

    The last train I left…

“I didn’t miss it, I watched it go..”

    Platforms don’t await you,
    they just bear your weight.

    It is the train
    that crosses paths every time,
    carrying you
    in any state —
    Broken, injured or lost —
you are allowed to escape everywhere.

    Nothing calls you to suffer,
you suffer in greed of your own desires,
becoming a burden for the platform,

    while you could have just
    caught that next train
    and moved on…
Don’t watch it go this time.*
    At any rate*
    This train is never*
    Coming back to this platform*
    Ever again.*

Have you ever done something consciously? Yeah, we do everything while we are in a concious state and living, but doing what you do, having an understanding, knowing the consequences of your choices, everything set clear in your mind, reflecting in your action, you know you won’t regret this time, you know your choices will disappoint many, maybe you’ll fail your people who are closer to you,

but you’ll still do it, because that is best, no matter how bitter it is, unless and until you won’t taste it, the poison won’t become an elixir for you….

The most bitter, the most forbidden, I pray God to leave it my way, I’ll handle the rest, for it will still work as a medicine, It will still heal, because it’s not my fault that I get that, if I’m blessed with that.

The train you miss accidentally, the people who leave without a reason and warning, the opportunities that you lose by mistake, everything that happened never give it a second thought. You don’t need to bother, it came your way, escaped your hand, don’t spiral your mind with why?

Why we always think what we missed was something beautiful? Why we wait in hope that everything that will come our way would be warm and kind?

It was the best thing that happened,
once I left a train on purpose
    and watched it go.

    Understand this —
It was the one I observed,
    filled with people I knew,
    but didn’t remember…

    Because the ones who left,
    deceived, deserted,
    looked down on me
are no more going to accompany me
in a train even till the very next stop.

    I barely remember them,
I just can recognise them if ever I face them,
but I mind that to never travel
    the path they trace,
    so it won’t happen.

The next time I missed it accidentally,
but before regret could hit me,
I realised it saved me from many dangers,
it was not a right choice,
    but God protects every time.

    Build on belief,
    build on instincts,
    build on real,
    no more fake…

Don’t regret the train you left, my soul,
some departures save you, making you whole. And some arrivals are yet to come,
    to return what they stole,
to give back what you lost,
    tenfold.

    Watching Places Moving Past Us~

What you leave behind doesn’t follow you a single mile!

    Station Pass, but we don’t

In transit: Scenes that leave us behind

    THE WORLD OUTSIDE MY WINDOW

“TO BEGIN WITH IS TO ARRIVE WITH NOTHING”

“Come unprepared, because the journey will teach you the rest!”

“I’m leaving. No surety I’ll come back.
No surety I’ll stay there where I’m going.

No surety I’ll return to exactly here, from where I‘ve started

    No promises..

From Inside the train, I peep out my window,

I’m admiring places, love them for a second..

    Then make them feel abandoned,

Not getting off here, even if I long,

The train knows where it’s going, Don’t bargain with destiny, it’s wrong.

These places walking past me are to stay unknown, but forever? I doubt..

But I spare today, for I go looking something untroubled that simply finds me,

In hopes, I just blindly follow, I trust the time indeed.

    The journey would be long,

maybe it leads me back to the place, to where I belong

    Nobody awaits,

    No more promises.

“The places and people we leave behind, they are like our shadow following us everywhere, but sadly they are invisible during dark times, and when a light of hope falls on our life, they come alive out of nowhere clearly visible to us, uncover this truth, they never leave completely, but disappear when it gets real and tough.”

“We believe from inside the train that places and people are moving past us, but it is not so, the fact that we are the one leaving them behind while train moves ahead, reality is different that what we perceive.”

“You can hold on to every sight that met your eyes on way to your journey, but you cannot know, visit, and understand every aspect of it. People and places are just passing scenes, don’t waste your life in knowing everyone or making yourself known to every person. The one who’ll become part of your journey will get on the train and may get off sooner than you expect, don’t reget what you missed on way behind and don’t miss who already left.”

Why We Romanticize The Places We Never Lived In?

There are places we come across while leafing through book pages, it’s just a picture, right? But you already find yourself, your eyes searchingly admiring it thoroughly, your mind already time traveling, making you feel how the time there would actually pass, you’ve already lived it in mind, you feets are eager to rush over there, your eyes forcing a vision of that place exactly in front of you. Ever happened? For me it’s too common, but whenever I look at pictures of Edinburgh, my eyes widen and I’m already in time when I’ll wander their in old streets, and autumn weather, the beautiful and surreal moment is recreated in my head.

I’m incomplete until I’m here… Let’s close the distance of miles in minutes…

For people it may be any ordinary city in their list in United Kingdom, but I place it as first land after India where my feets are eager to leave their trace in every corner of street that seem empty, filled with immense silence, yet the weather and cold air mist pouring, it’s not in visiting and clicking pictures in any city, traveling is all about exploring, searching, treasuring memories of places and living the moment while recreating, connecting with yourself while disconnecting from the world, escaping time, traveling to somewhere that will actually empty your heart…

I’m really not sure what Edinburgh and time and life has in hold for me, but if I step in here, I’ll surely share with you all readers. I’m waiting still for that day, and I’ll get back to you all, till then admiring it from a distance… Romanticizing it. Romance is good unless you don’t have to drag in people, and you are completely idolized by beauty of Earth and nature and inspire to discover the unseen, like Vasco da Gama, Christopher Columbus, they all set out on their own, following the direction of wind, and they really discovered gems.

We Romanticize those places because we are so influenced by them, lost in beauty that we want to see it through our naked eyes, ever romanticized any unknown or random place? Do share, try naming a place after your thoughts, that will be maybe called so in near future, just set on trips carefree unbothered by what’s happening in the world, not distracted by anything. You, that picture and your will to move is enough so you finally land there.

A lively dead man and his soulful potrait, leafing through the pages of The picture of Dorian Gray…

    The Picture Of Dorian Gray

I knew little about Oscar Wilde, before I came across this book “The picture of Dorian Gray” and the profound philosophy reflecting in each word quoted by the author and the gothic imagery living inside the pages that almost brings shiver down your spine. It might be a book of literature, but it serves a higher order. It is not for reading, it is a material to be studied, a philosophy to be revised, the deeper meaning lying inside which is often overlooked by classic readers.

The critic although in that era named this as a poisoned book, but it is not so. The Victorian society, the character of “Lord Henry and his bad influence over Dorian, his thoughts which are conflicted, because they are far different from what people in real world believe, all these might have brought hate for this book. But I’m so in love with every chapter in Dorian’s life, every influence that made him lose people, he was lonely, no more in people’s good graces, but he achieved what we can never dream of.

The book may have a dark side, but my honest critique is the insanity that drives your spirit. Honestly, holding a knife doesn’t mean you have murdered someone.  It is just that a person in action doesn’t always commit crime unknowingly, reading this with passion doesn’t define you as a fictional Dorian.

    The soul hidden inside potrait.

The plot is completely fictional, it happens that Dorian Gray a youthful personality almost extraordinarily beautiful person, also childlike innocent is affected by Lord Henry’s bad influence, the first time he meets him in the painter’s house (Basil). As their friendship turns out into everyday hangout and deep conversations, they effortlessly match each other’s company and mindset. Soon Dorian becomes passionate about living, also leading a youthful life and ending the curse of aging at cost of his soul, he almost looked like twenties in his late forties. When he loves sibyl vane the theatre actress, he actually becomes a reason for her suicide and death. Later, he moves on in life driven by books he used to read and they had grave impact on him.

Alive yet dead, the potrait dead yet the victim of his life.

When the truth behind his youthfulness and the marks of sin visible on potrait, which had left him untouched by time and despite his sins. In end he kills the painter, he tries to kill the potrait, but ends his own life by attacking his own soul which was present and living in the painting.

What touched me were two things, the way Sibyl Vane describes him her love, my favourite lines of that actress that hits raw, “I might mimic a passion I don’t feel, but I cannot mimic one that burns me like fire.” confesses that his love made her realise everything inside the room was false, it was setting her free, while Dorian loved her for being actress and her talent and beauty not as an ordinary girl, who wanted to run away from cage of theatre. How effortlessly Dorian moves on from everything, the second Sibyl dies she becomes another story in his life: that truth hits hard. And the wish of Dorian to die young, although he died so badly as he was in the picture later; old face with linings, that it would have been hard for anyone to guess it was the body of Mr. Dorian Gray. How he lead his life with pleasures, yet haunted by the sins which were dark shadows from whose trap he couldn’t set free even after his death. The contrast shown in every chapter, the cost of desire, the consequences of desire, and the desire for the desire, that just created a loop of emptiness and fake life.

And overall the thoughts of philosophy of author that lived in his mind, the kind of responses of Lord Henry, “the secret of remaining young is to never have an emotion that is unbecoming”; the language and dialogues of Sibyl and Dorian, every word felt heavy, conflicting allowing readers to understand far more the weight words carry, the meaning they create for someone and what one takes from you after hearing it. I would highly keep this as my all time favourite book, which I open and reread so often that I’m well versed with every statement in that book, and regardless of whether I  feel heavy, light or happy, my hands always moves to leaf the pages and I’m taken aback in time that never existed, but the philosophy that fits  perfect in both today and yesterday’s era. There are thousand reasons to not touch the book, but only one reason to repeat it, because you’ve already read it once.

From My Hills To Jaipur’s Pink Walls, This Way…

    Hawa Mahal

I barely remember how I ended up in this Royal City wandering their as a girl who might have accidentally lost way from hills to enter this grand city followed by majestic and noble infrastructure.

I still remember the most homelike safe environment I received by staying in Jag Niwas Palace a heritage home stay that was affordable as well as fulfilling, located in proximity to bus stand Sindhi Camp, my only recommendation to trouists and travelers.

    Home Stay!

After reaching here, journey felt easy and soothing, and in no time I almost covered 5 main tourist spots in Jaipur in 2 days.

We begin by exploring local markets, followed by Hawa Mahal which was located just in centre surrounded by the JDA market shops. The market was well defined with all kinds of footwear, clothing, accessories, dry and raw spices shops, the infrastructure development giving you an authentic feel of being present in Rajasthan.

    Make this your next destination!

The Amer fort and Jaigad fort are must. They are huge and so alive even today the strong built fortress stand tall and almost interconnected. Jaigad fort is amidst lush greeneries. The winds at those high altitude is mesmerizing and inviting. You can stand and admire the beauty of Jaipur city from where people and buildings seem nothing but so tiny and the world so clearer. Amer fort lake facing view, The Maota lake located in front is calm while the fort, reflection of hills in water adds a unique identity to this fort.

    Jal Mahal Night view

Heading back from the fort we could view Jal Mahal, although Jal mahal is located in main area but is visible most of the time when you pass streets of Jaipur especially from a height. The entry is now banned, still you can admire the timeless beauty and lake view standing by the railing and enjoying local street food.

    Seesh Mahal Nahargarh fort

Seesh Mahal is unique and traditionally designed which showcases the Rajasthani culture, tradition and folk. The stones and the mirror work inside the calm palace should be experienced once in your Jaipur tour. The fees charged per person is in thousands for entry, and experience is worth it.

Nahargarh fort with its sunset point, we missed this, but you can plan the trip according to time to enjoy the evening sunset view. Inside palace which was grand with terrace, and rooms of queen and king were designed using ancient techniques for spending summer and winter in same palace.

    Local Markets

At end of 2nd day we spent most of the time exploring local markets. Nearby the hotel as we took evening walk relaxing; I was determined to buy Rajasthani footwear, and Kurtis. We could easily avail it at local price. But we couldn’t manage to visit Johri Bazar as we were short of time, but simply said good bye to this short lived memorable experience in Jaipur. And the next time I want to recreate In Rajasthan My steps will be eager to trace the roads of Udaipur. Till then these memories leave and live with me in my hills, as we headed back to Uttarakhand.

“The Taj Mahal- A reflection of your own beauty “

I visited India’s wonder monument the Taj Mahal the previous month, and if in one line I have to give you an imagery ,description or idea of what it is on earth, then it feels so magnificent that it cannot be fully contained by one’s gaze. It is unique because built of the white marble and that till date is unstained, pure just like serene love of Mumtaz and Shah Jahan that fill the pages of history, unfolds time which is still reflected as we enter the mausoleum.

Afterall heaven is here on earth!

The void in ambience is filled by air which is very present, fragrant yet unknown. Every wall inside the mausoleum is evident of the loyalty, the unconditional love that was carried by Shah Jahan to his grave. And the unfulfilled, longings and desires of Mumtaz which still lives in the surroundings, which is for which The Taj Mahal stands today so unaffected by time.

Visiting this place for me was not just to view the infrastructure, but to wander in that lonely errection which is so detached from the surroundings, it is disconnected, it feels from an age which has gone decades before and therefore seem so unreal, while it still lives amidst the artificial settings of fountain and the tress and garden, but still it has its own beauty that does not mix with underlying things, they are just in background.

The Jasmine palace inside Agra fort is a must visiting place, from where we address the standalone, tall shining Taj Mahal and Yamuna lake that seems distant but not out of reach, the view from the window places it in centre stealing all your attention and grabbing complete focus.

The arched balconies and the windy air at those altitudes asks you to stay a little longer, and you never want to get down. It’s one of the main tourist attraction and a resting place which is why the top view, the inside , or the outside nature everything is just so inviting and you must visit this monument in India atleast twice in your whole lifetime. Once when you wish to find peace and relax as a tourist, the other time when the anklets’ music calls you for seeking and drowning in love and realising the deep emotions of love that is still sacred, hidden, existing inside The Taj Mahal in name of The lovers  Shah Jahan and Mumtaz which will be recalled in future everytime and the Taj Mahal will be remembered.

It begins the most, when it has finally ended.

Generations will come and go but the impression it leaves is the same…. Go ahead to feel the vibes.
